While putting together a video about robots, I tried to find abstract images of the city to use as background. Since I couldn't find any at the angles I needed, I made my own. Later, as I wanted robots suited to my more slow motion setup, I made cutouts of the robots as well.
The first and second set of images in this series are hand cut into black paper and mounted on white bristol. The second set incorporates red paper into the images. I'm please to report that this series has been popular and I've sold several of them.
The first 3D works are available at Canvas Gallery. A full scale installation of constructions will be opening on September 2 at MoMO Studio in Kansas City MO.
